Still Waiting...

So, I received my favorable decision from Social Security Disability on October 18, 2019.  It was dated for the 16th. It told me that if I didn't hear something within 60 days, I should contact my local office for a follow up. I started calling them on day 61, and gave contacted them twice a week since. I am getting ready to hit 120 days. They told me the payment center, who had my paperwork, would try to have it complete by Friday, the 14th. Well, that didn't happen, of course. I just try to keep a positive outlook on dealing with them. I can only hope and pray, that they get my paperwork complete sometime in the next week or so.

Keep on keeping on. Keep your head up...

Catching Up...

Well, it's been awhile.  A lot has happened and gone on since my last post, 7 years ago.  We, my wife and I, live in Alabama again.  We moved down here 6 years ago.
I received a favorable response from the disability judge.  The letter was dated October 16th, 2019.  It told me if I hadn't heard anything from them in 60 days, to contact my local office.  I gave them some extra time,  because of the holidays.  It is now February 5th and still nothing.  Not even a Medicare number so I can start using my insurance. When I call, usually twice a week, they tell me it's in the payment center and that's all they can tell me.  They have sent messages to the case worker, who has my case, but get no response.  It is getting to the point os discouragement.
We all went in together and bought a house.  Mom, dad, Crystal, and myself all live together now.  I feel like it benefits everyone having others in the house to help ease the stresses of everyday life. The boys, Jeremiah and Christian, get the benefit of having extra help with school work and school projects.
Well that's just a little taste of what's been going on in my life.  I hope everyday turns out the way you want it to, and I hope you find all the happiness you desire. Till next time, I'm out, see ya.....

App review

So I have installed a couple apps to try out. The first is cloud magic email. The second is hello texting.
Cloud magic email is a very nice, small email app. It is very simple to set up and use. You can look at all email in one inbox, or you can look at the individual inboxes. I find it a pleasant app to look at and use. In the combined inbox, your emails are color coded to tell you which account they are from.
The second app I have been trying out is hello texting. It is a direct spin on texting. You don't have a separate inbox and messaging screen. The interface is quit didn't than anything I have used in the past. The interface is very nice and easy to use. You have contact pictures down the left side and you click those pics, depending on who you want to message. Again this app is very easy on the eyes and very easy to use.
Check them out. Both apps are free in the play store, and I'm sure you will find them very nice and unique for their uses. Thanks for the views and i'll be writing some reviews of more apps in the very near future.

Snowy day in Indiana

Well we woke this morning to a blizzard warning today. The snow began falling in the early morning hours. My beautiful wife, Crystal, called in this morning. She works about 15 miles from home.
We had a wonderful Christmas with family. The boys, Jeremiah and Christian, had a great day. They got so many things that they wanted. I love the look on a child's face when they open presents and have that look of amazement. Well not much has be going on otherwise. Just waiting to hear from the social security board about my disability. It's been almost 4 years now, since I filed. Just hoping everyday will be the day that I get a decision. Well hour everyone had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. Hope you have all that you could want and more. Happy new year and God Bless.

Chillin....

Well, it has been awhile since my last post. I've been pretty busy. Still waiting on the government to let me know something about my disability. It's been a year and a half since my court date. They don't get in a hurry, unless they want something from you. That's my issue with the government. Well that and their belief that they can spend my money for me.

Everyone around here went camping for the weekend. Wish we could have went too. Just don't ever know about my schedule. Jerimiah has been going to school, since my last post. He really enjoys it. He talks about the days activities when he gets home. He always talks about it with such excitement. I wish I still had that excitement in me. I just find it so hard to even force a smile anymore.

Crystal and I are really struggling right now. We are fine, as far as being married, it's the financial part of our lives, that has us against the wall. We continue to dig along, but I'm not sure how long we can do it. It's really hard. She is my whole world. She is so strong. She keeps me going daily. She lost her mother in November. It is really tough for her. She cries daily. I told her she needs to talk to someone. I'm afraid that if she doesn't, she will completely break when something happens to her father.

We'll for now, I'm out. Main event coming on. (ultimate fighter finale) God bless. Be cool, and be careful.

Back after a short break and some breakthroughs...........

Well I haven't wrote in quite some time.  I have been dealing with some issues in my personal life.  I have started therapy and i am doing daily journals.  I thought that maybe i could do a daily summary each day on my blog.  I'm sorry if this isn't what you thought it would be when you started following or reading or however it works with blogs.  it is just a daily outlet for me.  if you have some input or an experience you would like to share, i would love to hear from you.  I had a pretty decent day today until about 11 am.  i got some news that upset me a little.  i tried to fight the building rage and finally had to breakdown and take a "chill" pill.  I think they might be a little strong.  I wasn't getting that "calming" sensation the doctor was describing so i thought they weren't working well.  i never put together the fact that every time i took on i ended up in bed all day long.  I took a nap today, and after i got up and wrote in my journal, i feel asleep in the recliner.  lmao  wow. i haven't slept like this in a long time.  it feels good in a way.  but i guess i should be about caught up on my sleep.  lmao.  Christan and Jeremiah had been sick , but they are both doing great now.  I'm not sure if I have written, since my Aunt Rose has passed.  I went to KY to her funeral.  She was a big part of my life.  I sure do miss her.  Well i think I'm gonna call it a night.  thanks for any input that any of you might have.  be cool and be careful.  GOD BLESS.

Been Awhile

Well it's been awhile since my last post.  Sorry about that.  Just had alot going on.  I've got a couple videos I'm gonna post.  They are of my nephews, Jerimiah and Christian.  They are my baby sister, Ashley, 's two boys.  The boys are a great part of my life.  I see them every morning, no matter what.  Crystal has been working alot, or it seems like it anyway.  I pinched a nerve in my back a week ago and I am so over it.  All I can do is sit around the house.  Some days are better then others of course.
Aunt Rose isn't doing to well.  She fell again today and her eyes are starting to yellow.  She still has good days and bad days.  I think the bad days are more common now.  Her youngest daughter, Marthy, is down helping Teresa take care of her.  I hope that Rosie can make it to the family reunion next week.  I may ride down with dad.
Well since I pinched a nerve in my back, I haven't been able to work.  This really sucks because that means that I am not contributing money to the household expenses.  That is the worst thing about it.  It is really degrading to a man when everything he has every worked for is taken away from him.  Then on top of all that, I've pinched a nerve in my back and now work has been taken from me.  I hope with all my heart that nothing else happens.
My step mom, Jackie,  just got home from the hospital yesterday.  She was sent Monday, from her doctors office.  They thought that she was having or had had a heart attack.  She had numerous tests ran as well as a heart catheter.  The catheter showed clean veins and a great heart.  I'm glad that she is in good cardiac health.
Well gonna close with a couple videos of the boys.  One of the videos is of Christian taking a couple of steps.  The video of Jerimiah shows him dancing in the front yard at dad's.  These videos are great and are sure to make you smile.  Be cool and be careful.  GOD Bless.

A great weekend

well it has been an exciting and eventful weekend.  Went to a couple races this weekend. Friday night, Brian(my brother), Larry(my dad), went to the truck race Friday night out at orp. it was hot, humid night, but it was a blast.  Ron Hornaday won the race.  No one could catch him all night.
Sunday Brian, Chad(Brian's step-son), Cason(Chad's son), and i went to watch the brickyard 400.  The day started out nice, cool, and breezy.  The sun soon came out to begin the baking, and cooking of the thousands of unwitting hunks of meat.  Some fought back with sunscreen, while others tried to fight the red hot ball of gas with shade, using umbrellas, and towels, and the such, to shield themselves.  Kyle bush wrecked on the first lap so my day started out wonderful.  Juan Pablo dominated the race, much like he did last year.  Once again the gremlins of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, denied him his much earned, and deserved victory.  We had a great time and I really look forward to doing it again.
The weekend was long , but a blast.  I had a really good time, as i hope those that experienced it with me, did.  Well not much more to write, for my brain is really tired and ready for some rest.  Be cool and be careful.  GOD Bless.

Another day in life of.......

Well, hello there.  It's been a few days since i last wrote.  we've been pretty busy with things.  Everything is going well and looks to keep rolling along at that pace.  Crystal finally got done with her inventory at work.  She worked alot of hours that week.  It really wore her out.
My aunt Rose isn't doing any better.  I think the end is near.  I just hope she goes while in her sleep as to not have a painful end.  She has began to pass blood and the hospice nurse told my cousin that anyone that wanted to see her should do so really soon.  I wish i could've got down there this past weekend, but funds just didn't allow it.  Shelb and Ed got to go down this past weekend.  they said she looks fine but she's not doing good.
Mom and Dad had Christian's first birthday party on Saturday.  He had such a good time eating his cake.  I think it's cool for the stores to give a baby their first cake just for them.  of course, not all of his gifts were toys.  I think he got a few outfits.  I know he got some new shoes.  He is just so funny to watch.  He's starting to walk.  he took 5 steps for me yesterday.  He trys so hard to talk.  He just can't get the words to come out like he trys to.
Well gonna get outta here for now.  Gonna go play some poker on facebook.  facebook.com/turp415  You should look me up.  Be cool and be careful.  GOD bless.

Rainy day at home.

Well, nothing really exciting today.  It's raining , and I don't much care for rain.  My nephew, Matt,  is here with me today.  His mother, Sue, asked me to watch him while she works.  Matt's playing with the xbox360 and I'm, as usual, surfing the net.
My aunt Rose isn't doing to good.  She has forgotten how to use her cell phone.  She gets frustrated easy nowadays.  A couple of my aunts went down to visit this past weekend. They have called to let me and dad know how she is doing.  Dad want to try to get back down there and take the boys, Jeremiah and Christian, down to see her.  My Cousin just called to ell us that the nurse told her to call in the family, because it won't be long.  The brain tumor is progressing faster than they thought.  Not much more to say about that, it leaves me speechless.  It just happened so fast.  Tell those that are important in your life how much they matter and how you feel.  They can be gone so fast.
Crystal is working today.  She's off tomorrow.  She works so  hard.  She made dept mgr pretty quick.  She is very experienced in her dept.  Sometimes after a hard day, when she's ready for bed early, i give her about an hour and then i go in and lay beside her and just watch her sleep.  She doesn't know, but she seems so peaceful while she's sleeping.  She has turned into a beautiful, intelligent, strong woman.  I love her dearly, and she is my rock.  She is my night and day.
Well not much else to say.  Oh, I do go bowling tonite.  Casino league is tonite.  It's a pretty fun league.  Well going to call it a day.  Be cool and be careful.  GOD Bless.

Knoxville, TN

Well we got into Knoxville about 10:30 pm.  The hotel was having connectivity problems with their main office so they had no record of my reservation.  luckily with a little patience and a few phone calls it was taken acre of and i got to lay down after a 6 hour drive.  The trip wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the degenerative disk disease.  I think it's getting worse. I'm gonna ask the doctor if maybe he thinks it might be time for another MRI.  It's been a couple years.
We went over to see my Aunt Rose today.  I scares the hell out of me to think that a person can go from completely independent, to having to have help doing everything, even sitting up in bed.  I don't know how fast the tumor in her brain will continue to grow.  Teresa, my cousin, said that the doctors didn't give her any kind of time frame or rate to expect.  They don't even know what kind of symptoms, or affects to expect.  I will continue to pray for Rose and her children.  They have to be extremely strong to deal with the tragedies that has happened in the last couple of years.
We will get up and visit with rose in the morning and then head to Corbin to visit with my wife's family.  It's been a couple years since my wife has seen her parents.  That won't happen again.  We just got busy with the move and getting our feet on the ground.  I didn't realize it had been that long since she had last seen her parents.
Well i think I'm going to call it night.  Be cool and be careful.  GOD bless.

15 Years Today

Today is my 15th wedding anniversary.  My wife, Crystal, is my best friend.  We have a wonderful relationship.  We talk daily about our experiences and daily happenings.  She is a very strong and independent woman.  Crystal has been right by my side through good times and bad. She is my sun and my moon.

My aunt Rose has been sent home.  She elected to not have the surgery to remove a grapefruit sized tumor from the left side of her brain.  I don't blame her, the doctors told her that she would be on kemo and radiation for the rest of her life.  I know I wouldn't want to spend my last days going to get shot with radiation.  She is a wonderful woman, aunt, and mother.  She has impacted my life greatly.  I really enjoyed the time she lived with my wife and I.
I am looking forward to this weekend.  We are taking a trip to Knoxville, Tn.  That's where Rose lives, with her daughter, Teresa.  Teresa is more like a sister than a cousin.  She is married to a good guy, Tim.
Well I could go on and on and on, but I will call it a day for now.  I may be back a little later today with some thoughts or experiences.  Be cool and be careful.  God bless.

06/29/2010 - a beautiful sunny day

today started out beautiful. the weather was just right.  we were all waiting to hear any new news about my aunt Rose.  Rose found out a few days ago that she was very ill.  i have prayed for her everyday.  even before her illness was discovered.  i know that God will look over her and her children.  ya know sometimes life makes ya wonder y?  nothing else. just y?  we don't always understand, and we don't always need to.  sometimes life is just that way.  take care and god bless.
